Colossians 4:2-5
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.
Paul asked for prayer to proclaim the Good News about Christ clearly. No matter what our approach to evangelism we use, whether emphasizing life-style and example or building relationships we should never obscure the message of the gospel. We should be wise in our contacts with those not yet followers of Christ and make the most of the opportunities show and share Christ with them. What opportunities do you have?
